Returning for its third year, the Amaranth costume ball is one of those unique events on the Australian cosplay event calendar. Tied in to Manifest but its own separate event, how did the event go in this third iteration?

An exciting, new event has been added to the calendar in the Australian Cosplay community. The first Madman National Cosplay Championship (MNCC) swept through the Australian cosplay scene this year. The preliminary rounds were held in five cities around Australia throughout 2009, and recently Melbourne hosted the Grand Final. |

It is that time of year again for Manifest to roll around. For those that don't know it is Australia's longest running fan organised anime/games convention. It has also become one of the big gathering points for cosplayers from right across Australia and even other countries.
